Coach

Years of trials and tribulations turned me into the coach I am today. I started trading friends at a very young age (around 15) to get better at their sport. I was always in the gym more than most and had a vague idea of what I was doing. I never really thought it would be my "calling" until after I graduated college and it was the only thing I really wanted to do. I’ve had several training jobs, and I’ve learned a little from each experience that molded me into the coach I am today. Am I perfect? No, but I’m always willing to get better at my craft.

The turning point for me was my constant struggle with my sports performance. When I was younger I thought I had natural athleticism, so that lead me to be lazy. When in fact I had been training on the weekends with my Dad and younger nephew without me knowing. That’s what made me play well. It took me until High School to realize the work that needed to be put in to be great. But that’s only apart of the puzzle. It doesn’t matter how hard you work, if what you’re doing is unproductive. That lead me to doing my own research on how to be a better athlete and applying it to my own training methods. It took some time, but all that training and learning led to my first professional football contract!

I love seeing others succeed. When I played basketball, I was a point guard, my main job was to distribute the ball. I loved getting my teammates involved and watching them score. I get the same feeling when clients/members achieve their fitness/life goals.
